Love Queenstown was the first project to come to life from the newly adopted Destination Management Plan for the Southern-Lakes region: Travel to a Thriving Future. It is led by Destination Southern Lakes (DSL) and delivered in partnership with Destination Queenstown. We are so grateful to Destination Queenstown for championing this initiative and sharing it with our visitors and local visitor industry.

Love Queenstown and Love Wānaka (our joint initiative over the hill) are delivered in partnership with the Wakatipu Community Foundation – a donor driven charitable trust that supports localised philanthropy in our region. The Foundation was integral to the development of Love Wānaka and Love Queenstown, and continues to support in an advisory, audit and compliance capacity.
This collective of businesses go above and beyond to support Love Queenstown, choosing to give 1% of their net proceeds, or a generous donation of 10,000 or more, each year.
