Community Conservation - Planting at Slopehill Reserve

Whakatipu Reforestation Trust is kicking off autumn planting at Slopehill Reserve on March 28th.
Volunteers will be adding 1000+ native plants to the more than 40,000 native plants that have already been planted at this site.

New to tree planting? No prior experience is necessary and their friendly team will show you everything you need to know about planting native plants. This is a drop-in style event starting from 9am. Bring your family and friends - all welcome.


**Morning tea and hot drinks will be kindly provided by Crowne Plaza Queenstown**


WHAT TO BRING: Gardening gloves (loan gloves available), sturdy footwear or gumboots, water, sunscreen, and hat.
LOCATION: Slope Hill Road (access off SPEARGRASS FLAT ROAD only), right next to the Queenstown Bike Trail.
PARKING: Plenty of parking available. Drive along Speargrass Flat Road approx 1.5km until you see the green WRT flag on the left.
