Love Queenstown Industry Planting Day

Gather your team and join us for the 2026 Industry Planting Day!

Love Queenstown is once again partnering with the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, QLDC and Skyline to bring our business community together for a day of connection and hands-on environmental restoration.

Together, we'll spend the day planting native seedlings at Jardine Park, building on the restoration work already underway at this special site. Whether you've joined us before or are coming along for the first time, it's a great opportunity to get outside, connect with others from across the industry, and lend a hand to a long-term community restoration effort.

Additional information

Since launching in 2023, Love Queenstown has brought together hundreds of volunteers from across the visitor industry to support local restoration projects throughout the Whakatipu.

This year we return to Jardine Park, where the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust and QLDC are working towards the long-term restoration of a vibrant corridor of native bush. Over the past few years, our Industry Planting Days have helped establish thousands of native plants at the site, adding to the wider restoration work taking place there.

Beyond planting trees, the day is about strengthening connections between businesses, community organisations and the places we care about.

Thank you to every business, partner and volunteer who has helped make these planting days possible. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026!

A quick note on registrations

Registrations look a little different this year. Each volunteer will need to register individually, including their name and contact details. This supports the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust's volunteer tracking and ensures we have the information required for health and safety on the day.

If you're organising a team but don't have everyone's details confirmed just yet, no problem. Get in touch to hold your spaces, and you can confirm individual details closer to the event.
